Dr. Stefanie Greenleaf
For over 3000 years, Chinese Medicine has treated the root cause of human illness.
My passion for medicine has been lifelong. I knew at a young age that “when I grew up” I wanted to care for and help people. My journey began at the University of Vermont studying Bio/Pre-Med. Then the gypsy in me, led me to California. At Humboldt State University, as a Botany major I studied Western Herbology, and built a solid understanding about the medicinal properties of plants. I was introduced to Chinese Medicine at this time and combined my learnings to pursue the path of becoming an acupuncturist.
I graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM in 2006. Following graduation I completed clinical internships in Beijing at China Japan Friendship Hospital and at the Beijing Traditional Medicine Training Center. I have been practicing for 13 years now and I can honestly say, that I fall more in-love with Chinese Medicine everyday. I love working with people, assisting them to live their very best lives. As a yoga and barre teacher, and a practitioner of meditation, I incorporate all of my knowledge along dietary and lifestyle recommendations to create the most comprehensive and individualized treatment for each of my patients. I feel honored and humbled to do this work. I would love to talk with you more and guide you on your path to health, happiness & peace.
“Stefanie easily builds trust and provides insights that made me feel like I was talking to a close friend. The acupuncture experience was excellent, leaving me feeling more relaxed, at ease, confident, and released physical pain that I had been feeling. Stefanie is amazing and I highly recommend her!”
“I would recommend Stefanie for treatment to anyone. In fact, I wish I lived closer because I would love to see her on a regular basis. I will however, continue acupuncture in Texas with someone within her network.”
“Stefanie’s ability to connect and listen is strong. Which is truly a gift for any practitioner. Her treatment was both healing on an emotional and physical level. I felt cared for and felt that the acupuncture treatment was helpful. ”
“As a first-time acupuncture newbie, I couldn’t imagine a better initial experience! It’s obvious she cares about her clients and creating personalized experiences based on unique needs and preferences.”
“I have suffered from digestion issues for more than 5 years. During that time, I was seen by my Primary Care MD, a gastroenterologist MD, two Holistic MDs, a Homeopathic doctor and a Naturopathic doctor whom said “include more fiber” or they threw up their hands. Within 4 months of seeing Stefanie, my digestion was improving and now, 9 months later, my digestion is better than it’s been in 5 years. I am truly grateful I took the chance on acupuncture and Stefanie!”
